Scott C. Cannady, CFP® joined Hayden Harper in 2014 as a Partner and Advisor. He is responsible for leading the advisory firm and providing families and businesses with financial guidance. Scott has over 20 years of experience in financial services working with high net worth families and businesses on investment management, financial planning, insurance, trust and estates, and private banking. Prior to joining Hayden Harper, Scott spent nine years as a Client Advisor and Senior Vice President with First Citizens Bank’s Private Wealth Advisory Group in Charlotte, NC.

Scott earned his undergraduate degree in Business Management and Finance from North Carolina State University and graduated Magna Cum Laude. He became a Certified Financial Planner® in 2003 and has held various securities and insurance licenses.

Scott and his wife Mary have been married 20 years and have two children. He enjoys spending time with his family in the mountains, playing golf and serves as a Deacon at Westminster Presbyterian Church.
